Calliope: Voice of the Writers is an international online writers’ magazine. 

Currently we’re focusing on the Novel Race 08, in which a number of aspiring novelists have been building a novel since April 08, chapter by chapter, month by month. 

Launching this month is the Calliope monthly book club. We’ll read a book a month – come join our brand new discussion board analysis throughout the month as we dissect the novel.

Calliope is unique in its commitment to providing an open discussion forum for all submitted pieces and ongoing forums (Wiki-lliope) for collaborative poetry, fiction, and non-fiction, as well as in its international status — the Calliope editorial staff consists of members from both America and the United Kingdom.

Our name comes from the ancient Greek character Calliope, who was a muse of epic poetry, and means “beautiful voice”. Let her (and Calliope!) be a muse to inspire and encourage.
